Overview
This project presents a storage furniture catalogue designed for the brand Homesight, aimed at our retail clients. The collection features open, modular and affordable furniture solutions that cater to a wide range of needs and styles. With pieces made from fibreboard, solid wood and metal, the catalogue is built to suit various budgets and aesthetic preferences. This year marks an evolution in our approach: while we continue to serve individuals furnishing their homes, we now also address the needs of professionals looking to furnish their commercial spaces or chambers with functional, stylish solutions.
Brief
I was missioned to design the new storage furniture collection for Homesight. The brief required creating a range of flat-packed furniture positioned between entry-level and mid-range pricing. The pieces are made from a mix of wood and metal to offer both variety and affordability. Aesthetically, the challenge was to appeal to a broad audience while establishing a strong and recognizable design identity. Initially targeting B2C customers with limited budgets, the brand wanted to expand into the B2B sector.
Proposal
This collection was born from a simple but meaningful ambition: to make well-designed storage furniture accessible to everyone, from first-time renters to independent shop owners. Each piece was imagined to balance functionality, affordability, and aesthetic clarity. By using open structures and versatile materials like fiberboard, solid wood, and metal, the collection offers modular solutions that adapt to real-life needs without compromising on style. A key objective was to design multiple pieces that could coexist within a single collection, or to make one piece available in different formats, encouraging users to combine items and build a complete, harmonious interior. The design language is timeless yet contemporary, rooted in current sensibilities without chasing trends, making the collection feel at home in both personal and professional spaces. Homesight’s new line is more than just storage; it’s a thoughtful response to the evolving ways we live, work, and furnish the places that matter most.
